Prayer is the fuel for mission and discipleship.
Renew exists to make disciples who are renewed by the gospel and become gospel renewal to the city. If our desire is to make disciples of Jesus who are not only personally renewed by the gospel but also bring gospel renewal to the city and beyond, then we must be a people who love prayer and are deeply formed in God’s presence.
Prayer is the fuel for mission and discipleship. It’s how we depend on God for the renewal we long to see in our lives, our church, and our city. Simply put, if we want to see gospel renewal spread, we must become a praying church.

We seek to be with God first before asking for anything. God is relational, and our first priority in prayer is simply to be with Him and bless Him before we speak.

We pray at a level that allows others to hear and join in with us.

We keep our prayers brief and concise (about 20–30 seconds) so others have space to pray and add their faith. Silence is welcome and even encouraged.

We pray boldly and with humility, avoiding language like “God told me” or “God said.” Instead, we share humbly what we sense from the Spirit, remaining open and teachable.

These four prayer handles help shape a shared culture of prayer in our church and guide how we seek God together.
The fill
Join us in the Chapel for The Fill (our monthly prayer and worship gathering) for a transformative experience of prayer and worship, replenishing your spirit for the challenges ahead and fulfilling the call to be filled by the Spirit of God. If we desire to see God GROW us, we must become a praying church—dependent on His Spirit and formed in His presence.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
One of our pastors will guide us through some Scripture and a prayer moment as we seek God together, praying in groups. We always spend time praying for each other’s personal needs in groups to denote family. Finally, we close each night with celebration and honor of God through worship. See video below to learn more.
WHEN IS THE FILL?
The Fill happens the first Friday of the month from 7:00pm-9:00pm.
SUNDAY
PRAYER TEAM
During Sunday service, and following the end of each service.
Our Sunday Prayer Team is available during and after each service to pray with anyone who would like prayer. They pray individually with people in our congregation, seeking to listen to the Holy Spirit and partner with what God is doing in the gathering.
